The Kentucky Department of Insurance has issued Bulletin 2010-01 notifying insurers that the premium surcharge required by Kentucky State Statute will increase from 1.50% to 1.80%, effective April 1, 2010. This increase affects all mortgage insurance companies transacting business in Kentucky and the increased surcharge will be applied to both initial and renewal premiums.

 

On February 1, RMIC is introducing a new version of ELS providing enhanced features to speed and simplify loan submissions and give you more control for faster responses to your RMIC Mortgage Insurance orders. We're also expanding ELS product offerings to include Contract Underwriting and full package mortgage insurance submissions in one convenient location.
