RMIC's Housing Market Monitor is a guide to differentiating local markets under the greatest pressure of home price decline from those that are transitioning or stable. Metropolitan area home price appreciation rates along with RMIC’s opinion about near term price trends can be quickly accessed through our zip code lookup tool. More detailed information about the state of the housing market and the health of local markets can be obtained through RMIC's chief economist's commentary and Metropolitan Area Market Analysis (MAMA) Reports.
RMIC’s Housing Market Monitor may be accessed in two forms. The first is web based to enable quick access and lookup of market conditions. To search for market status within this application, enter a zip code in the parameter field on the right side of the screen. The second is a zipped Excel spreadsheet for download. This version enables better printing functionality and is useful for more frequent analysis.
