RMIC is an active supporter of MISMO and MISMO standards. For MI orders, a custom MISMO XML-based connection with RMIC allows our customers to transmit and receive data seamlessly over a secure network, eliminating the need for paper ordering forms or manual data entry on websites. Since the result of the order loads directly to our customers’ Loan Origination System, data entry errors and MI pricing errors are eliminated, saving time and money.

Our connections allow our lender-partners to submit transactions to RMIC to order mortgage insurance coverage, transfer servicing, remit premium payment, audit files and cancel mortgage insurance. In 2009, RMIC will offer integration access to live, real-time MI eligibility and rate estimate data for customers who connect directly to RMIC.
